ABOUT MANOUCHE DROME
A Night of Rhythm and Improvisation
Four exceptional musicians join forces for an evening of gypsy jazz, Brazilian rhythms, swing, and inspired improvisation. Expect uplifting melodies, infectious grooves, and a warm musical atmosphere where jazz tradition meets contemporary expression.
Leading the ensemble is Nadia Madi, a vocalist with over two decades of experience on the live music scene and a deep artistic dedication to jazz. She began her musical journey in 2002, studying at Fakanas Conservatory and performing in musical theatre productions before appearing at some of Athens' most renowned live venues, interpreting pop, soul, funk, and contemporary Greek and international repertoire.
Driven by her passion for jazz, Nadia has devoted more than twelve years to the study and performance of the genre, working alongside acclaimed musicians and educators such as Spyros Manesis, Giannis Papanastasiou, and Irini Konstantinidi.
Today, she is a member of the international ensemble Manouchedrome, performing gypsy jazz across France, Belgium, and other European countries. She is also the lead vocalist of Jazz Tropicana, a project dedicated to Brazilian jazz, bossa nova, and Latin rhythms, while continuing to present a versatile repertoire of jazz standards, soul, funk, and pop classics.
With expressive stage presence, musical versatility, and a genuine love for improvisation, Nadia creates performances that bridge cultures and musical traditions, offering audiences an authentic, elegant, and memorable live experience.
