NOSTODIA

Nostodia is a band that experiments in traditional, art & electric sounds. Since the word NOSTOS is the journey back home, Nostodia (Nostos + Ode) describes the band's musical journey over time and the search for the musical homeland of all its members through this journey.

Nostodia started in 2008 with the first member Michalis, who is the violinist and the band inspirer. With Vangelis, musician and orchestrator "opened sails" and began the first musical journeys, thus creating the basic
musical experiences diptych. A little later, Dimitris with his guitar and voice joined to even more musical paths, which were accompanied by drummer Michalis who later entered the band. Finally, Voula with her sweet voice, Michalis on bass and Pasquale on keyboards joined the crew.

The band loves social events, in which many types of music find their place. From pop-rock to artistic songs, from Cretan traditional to Greek folk and from 60's to disco music, all joined together as a set of nostalgic, musical travel.

Nostodia's goal is to convey emotions to the audience through its music. Through the beautiful companionships, the good mood, the smileys, the singings, the dances and the fun, we keep adorning important moments of your lives, as you join the musical journeys of Nostodia.
